Spill the Tea
After about a year and a half of experimentation with my necklaces, I felt I’d neglected to branch out similarly with other accessories. I made ‘Spill the Tea’ to focus on earrings, aiming to make each pair unique and creative, and am extremely happy with the results. If you’re looking for some maximalist and fun earrings, this is for you.

Happy Hour
‘Happy Hour’ is a collection of necklaces, earrings and bracelets inspired by cocktails. I’d started conceptualising these pieces at the start of 2026, when I’d noticed that I would tend to find a silhouette I like and reuse it often. I was trying to move away from this in lieu of using every opportunity I can to be more creative with my work. By the time I got round to making the drop, I’d kinda reached that goal already (at least with necklaces), but figured that it would still be a fun creative exercise anyway considering that all the concepts and colour schemes were decided, and I would have to find other ways to add flair to each piece.

The Horrors
Even as a fairly alternative person who wears exclusively black, in recent years I’d found it increasingly hard to formulate interesting designs with darker theming. However, I’d also found it increasingly fun to challenge myself, so that’s what I did with this drop. Feast of the Forest
Back when I started making jewelry, I gravitated towards foliage, flowers and fairies - hence the name Moss Pixie. As my style evolved I went back to it less often, but after experimenting for a few drops I wanted to go back to my roots and apply what I’d learnt, creating Feast of the Forest; a collection for the fairies to wear frolicking in the fields.

Wonderland
After Mythos, and discovering that being unnecessarily creative with my work is actually super fun, I dove right in the deep end, making a drop inspired by Alice in Wonderland for the opportunity to make everything as weird as possible. While I was not a beginner to jewelry making by this point (I’d been making beaded jewelry for a few years now), I was looking at my work through a new lens, approaching it with more focus on originality. Though I’d usually prefer not to base my works on existing media, I found Wonderland a great way to experiment with stranger themes without feeling a ton of pressure to come up with too many different ideas at once, since the source material was already odd enough.

Mythos
Buckle in, this is a long one.
I was never (and am still not) a huge fan of basing my jewelry on existing media (religion?), but I’d had a few people suggest this and was visiting family. A week of minimal responsibility and no supplies to make jewelry resulted in a lot of sketching - I figured I might as well doodle some necklaces inspired by mythology, just to get some ideas to work off. Then I fell down a rabbit hole. By the time I got home I had multiple fleshed out sketches, and even some charms I wanted to find for them, which was a first for me.
Keeping with the theme of firsts, this was also the first drop where I gave everything a name. Kinda. I messaged one of my customers who had suggested the theme and asked her if she wanted to help name them. Emily had multiple customs from me already; I always had a blast working with her and I knew she’d be up for it, and she absolutely killed it. So much so that I started naming everything in a similar way after - my old method was much more straightforward and (imo) didn’t really fit my approach anymore.
This drop was the beginning of a creative arc that I could’ve never expected. I’d never worked with such specific themes, nor had I given myself much opportunity to experiment with super maximalist pieces, but that ended up being my goal with this drop. Every time I had made a more ‘maximalist’ necklace before, I would make it black, white or pearl; something easy to style, because it felt too self-indulgent to go all out with unusual colour schemes and the like. Mythos was pretty much an excuse for me to go a bit haywire and make some ‘less marketable’ necklaces, experimenting with different silhouettes and colour schemes.
Thankfully it paid off, because I could not be having more fun now.
